Introduction

My name is Brian Oliver and I'm a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in Communication Arts - Communication Science and Rhetorical Studies.  I'm currently in the process of applying to law schools for next year to pursue a career in juvenile justice.  I've interned multiple summers in this legal field and I find it rewarding giving legal services to children who are less fortunate than we are, and watching them turn their lives to a positive path.  I currently volunteer at the Legal Information Center in Madison, where I research Wisconsin State Statutes to give members of the Madison Community free legal information.

One of my favorite hobbies is music.  I literally listen to everything from classical music to heavy metal.  Besides music, I also am a die hard sports fan.  Baseball and Football are my two favorite sports to play and watch.  When I'm not watching sports on television, I'm watching The Office, Califroniacation, or It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.  I also enjoy  doing things outside like camping, snowboarding, and swimming.

The main reason I am taking this course is because I am horrible with the internet and computers in general.  I believe that if you have a lot of knowledge about the internet, you will be able to take control of the job market.  Hopefully after this course, I will become better acquainted with the internet and feel more comfortable doing things on it.
