Blog #4- Google Yourself

When I type in Samantha Adler the first thing that comes up is Samantha Adler Photography, which I have no relation too. After seeing that, I realized how many Samantha Adler's there are and there is no way I will come up on the first couple pages. Next, is the site map for the Samantha Adler Photography. Then there is an article including Samantha Adler Photography. Then, there was a facebook that wasn't mine. To my surprise, there was a Samantha Adler LinkedIn search pages and when I clicked it, my page came up first. I made it when I was applying to summer internships so I could see more contact information for companies I was trying to apply to. I haven't used it very much since though. The rest of links on the page don't involve me but I am very satisfied I come up at all because I remember years ago looking up myself and being disappointed that I didn't come up at all.

After looking through the first few pages I realized that because the Samantha American Girl Doll books were created by someone with the last name Adler, that definitely triumphs anything I have ever done. I hope someday to have some important links about myself on the first page of the search!
