Blog Post #4: Googling Myself.

First off, I should say that I google myself every couple of months or so, just to make sure there's nothing too potentially damaging about me on the internet. So I was not very surprised by the results of this assignment.
First in the 28,700 results was my Facebook page, and someone could learn quite a bit about me without even going past the public listing, such as my friends, favorite movies or music, or my activities. Lower down the list was my Twitter, which only has my name and that I'm studying here at UW Madison. At the bottom of the page was my profile created for this very blog.
There were also a number of results who were NOT me, including a man who lives in Florida, and also a John M Hannasch who lives in Carroll, Iowa, and has a Facebook. This was also not surprising; he's my great uncle.
Really, it's not too hard to find out anything about anyone with the internet.
