Blog #7 Computerized world...

From after class today, I headed out to practice;since class runs into practice time the boathouse doors lock, therefore I had to use my student ID card to scan in (1). After I got in, I had to punch in the code to get into my locker room (2). Since the team had been out practicing for a while, the locker room lights had turned off, as I walked in it triggered the motion sensor and turned on the light (3). I went up stairs and turned on the radio (4) and set up the ergometer-rowing machine (5). Once I finished working out I got a drink from a fountain drink/Powerade machine (now that I think about it- I dont think this is computerized...is it?). I watched TV as I stretched (6). then walked home, I turned on my TV (7). and checked my email (8). After finishing eating, I called a classmate for an assignment (9) then logged onto learn@UW (10) and studied, Then I went to bed but set an alarm clock first (11). I think thats it....

  1. yes, that vending machine was a computerized device. It's heavily programmed, from the money reader (which verifies amount and determines whether or not the bill is real), to the change dispenser, to the display screen, and the temperature control of the machine.
