Blog Post #5 - Plants vs. Zombies

Wow, I never thought I'd be so amused by such a simple game. Perhaps it's because I'm bored, or because I'm putting off class readings, but I found this little kids game very entertaining. I played it for around a half hour and found it rather addictive, and got through the entire trial version. I'm primarily a console gamer, so this was a change of pace for me. I didn't enjoy the constant advertising, although eventually it made me hungry for toaster strudle, so I suppose it served its purpose. The concept was so simple, and the in-game payoff was sufficient so it was entertaining enough for a Sunday evening. I would never waste 19.99 on the full version though, but I could see a ten year old's desire to.
