Blog Post #5: Plants vs. Zombies

I'm sort of a game nerd, so I enjoyed playing Plants vs. Zombies. I thought it was sort of a cute/funny concept: plants killing zombies. I didn't anticipate playing the game for long, but I found myself hooked once I played. I found myself wanting to beat each level. It was the perfect time for me to stop doing homework and slack off. It was a simple and easy game to play, which made it easy to engage in.

One thing I found annoying was the lame ads that kept playing after each level I passed, which made me wish there was a "skip ad" button! Next to the game window was an ad to download the full game; it allowed you to play the whole game without any ads in between. Although I didn't download it, I'd say that was a good advertising move on the gamesite's part. The only other complaint I had about the game was that once you lose to the zombies, you cannot start at the level you lost to, but you have to start from the beginning. For me, I wanted to beat each level, and having to replay the levels that I have already beated was a waste of time. Overall, I though it was a pretty fun game. I can see how it can be addicting. So many people "liked" the game too!
