Blog Post #5 - Plants vs. Zombies

While I thought the game seemed silly, all of a sudden I realized it had been 30 minutes and I was still playing plants and zombies. As most online gaming affects me, I had become addicted unbeknownst to me. These games are often the simplest ones and keep your attention for hours. The only part that annoyed me, as someone who does not usually play games online, was the ads taking up time in between. I found that it was these points I'd look at the time and realize how long I had been playing and change my mind on the timing. While it makes sense for the ads to take place to keep the game free, if there were no ads I definitely would have continued playing longer. Also, the fact that you got a new item each level kept me enthralled as I wanted to see what else I could win as I continued playing.
