Blog Post #6: Hulu vs Youtube

I use both of these sites a lot, and I like them both for different reasons. Like a wife and a mistress. Hulu is great because it'll hold full episodes of many different shows for several weeks after they air, which is perfect for me, because I often don't have a lot of time in the evenings to watch TV, so I can catch them the next morning on Hulu. I've also been looking at Hulu Plus, which to me looks like the equivalent of Pandora One. You get some extra services, but you're better off saving your money, because the free version works just fine.

Youtube on the other hand rarely has TV on it, or at least not full episodes. Youtube is where you go for quick clips from TV or movies, or a song, or a video of a baby monkey riding backwards on a pig (Look it up.) If Hulu is a blog, Youtube is its Twitter. Short updates, doable by anyone with half a brain, and a lot of them involve cursing.
