So I haven't posted in quite a while, but I have been keeping up with my politically active websites, and I feel like this is a great time to write another posting with the elections having taken place in Madison and the rest of the state just last night.
The WEAC website, as many of you probably know, has been continuing to push for a democratic swing here in this election, as that may limit the amount of power that Governor Walker has to throw around. They've been campaigning and advertising on their homepage since about a month ago, but have also been continuing to support those that are holding up the passing of this bill. The ways they are doing this is what I find interesting. They are continuing to use news articles posted on their website with links that sort of demean the other side of the argument, but they are also beginning to post videos from protests and other things of that sort. I think it's a great way to use multiple media to advertise their points.
I could also just change the name of the website around and that entire paragraph would be a good summary of what Support Walker.com has been doing. They continue to post links and articles that take shots at the democrats and the teachers, and they are also beginning to show video clips and the like. I'll continue to check in on the sites and keep you guys updated!
