Hey folks! Tomorrow I’ll be giving a presentation on special interest websites, specifically Newschoolers.com. Seeing as I’m an avid skier, I’m stoked to be presenting on such a cool site. I guess, at best, I can expect you to pretend to be excited. Thats the glory of these types of websites though, they’re very niche. Before 3:30 tomorrow, take a look at some of these questions:
Do you have a special talent/skill/hobby that is particularly significant in your life? Do you pursue information about it online? Are you a part of an online community or site based around this trait?
If so,
How do you communicate with others on the site?
Has the site furthered your talent, skill, or interest in that hobby in any way? How?
