To start, although I've played a lot of games similar to plants Vs. Zombies in my free time, I've never played this specific one before. I really do like playing these types of games on my phone and during class (not this one obviously) but this one was kind of boring. I would rather play something where I'm at least a little bit more active while controlling the game instead of just planting a pea-pod shooter and watching it shoot a bunch of zombies. It just doesn't appeal to me. I do think the game is more suited toward a younger demographic and I can totally see how they would enjoy it just because of the fact that they're killing zombies with plants, but as I said - not for me.
Aside from not really enjoying playing the game, I did want to make light of the fact that I do see the relevance of the game and that it merits a blog posting. A lot of people look at online gaming with tunnel vision and either acknowledge only the World of Warcraft players and other MMORPG gamers, or they look at it in this light where online gaming consists of just mindless clicking. IT'S BOTH!
