Blog #6 YouTube and Hulu

I think it is fair to say that nearly everyone has been exposed to these websites before, I am no different. I follow most of my shows through Hulu, it is great for the day after viewing sessions. I dont feel bad using it as it is a mainstream form of broadcast endorsed by their shows, so it is in fact all legal as opposed to other media outlets on the world wide web. As I do not subscribe to Hulu Plus, I dont know how much more extensive it is but between my Netflix subscription and Hulu I find I have no issue tracking down an episode I missed or simply adore and want to rewatch. Youtube I find to be a different type of monster. Where Hulu goes through conventional commercials Youtube seems to be more of an untamed beast with many videos often being taken down for illegal content. I find that youtube serves a better purpose for sharing that one (or million) clips that you just love while Hulu acts as a free DVR to the world.
