I've been actively participating in many of the forums (discussion boards) lately to see how active people on this site participate in them and how the different topics of conversation differ. I am surprised to see how many people are immediately responding to people and writing in the discussions. Every time I refresh the forums page, a different person has posted in a different category for forums.The one that is most interesting for me to read is the serious topics discussion. There is politics, government and any serious topic you can think of discussed in this one. I do not know enough about politics to intervene on the debates and arguments (mainly between democrats and republicans) but these discussions do get very intense.
I do however, feel comfortable in writing in the off- topic category because literally every random topic you can think of is listed there. Anything from weather to youtube is discussed in a very casual manner, relative to the intense discussions in the serious topics forum. It surprises me how many people on this gaming site are actively participating in the forums.
