Although I am not developing, or making, a game on kongregate...I have been messing around with everything to do with developing to see what I would have to do to earn money off of a game.
The first option is to make a game and upload it. Sounds simple, much harder though to make a game than it sounds(I tried.) After uploading the game, you can save up to 50% of ad revenue(that much is allowed to be shared with developers).
There is a tab to check your own revenue(which I have none) and many other ways to make money from the site/different games you can create.
If I had a few more months to do this project I would for sure make a game for us all to play(it would probably be simple and boring though)
Have you seen the site www.sporcle.com? When you made your presentation and through your posts this program sounds very similar, just with more in depth games. Sporcle is quiz games, but they're super addictive and in all different categories and you can create them yourself too!
