Online games are my favorite. On Kongregate.com, it truly is the "youtube of videogames" with online games made by fellow users. I first made an account on the site in order to play games, earn points and make a page. At first, the games seem mainly violent, but there is a variety of games that you may not realize at first glance. In the picture to the left, it is a screenshot of one of the pages of games that I was looking through. As well as games on this site, each page includes a sponsored game that takes you to another site.
Before going on this game site for this class assignment, I had never even heard of it so the site is all new to me completely. You can either play games or invent them for others to play. So far, I have just been playing the games and some are better than others. In each game, you can earn points and potential prizes you can earn. Created in 2006, it is still going strong today.
Playing the games are simple because the directions each game are on the right side of the screen while playing. Thus far, most games I play have simple directions like using arrow keys and space bars. The picture below is a game I played and an example of how the games look on this site. This game was simple and you just played with the little object on the screen using different tools. I can't wait to continue to play more games.
