Blog #4 - Google Yourself

I first Googled "zach stearns." An Amazon profile, an Orthopedic surgeon, a myspace profile, a couple of twitter accounts, and a facebook profile came up, none of which were me. However one of the bottom two links was me--it connected me to a site that was for postseason awards for my high school football team my senior year. I dont mind that being linked I guess. Next I googled "zachary stearns" and more links to profiles that were not me showed up. Finally I searched "zach stearns rye ny" which is where I'm from. This time the football site came up again, a lacrosse site came up from when i played in high school, and a link to the local Rye newspaper came up with a match that was not me, but my sister and some other kid named zach. Also what struck me was that i was linked to this blog. I'm not sure how I feel about that. It made me wonder if this blog is going to be erased after the semester...I kind of hope so. I made my facebook profile pretty private and that's why it did not show up when i googled me (i think/hope). I dont really want too much stuff about me to be available to anyone who wants, thats just how I feel.
