Practicum - John #2

Editing wiki's is a lot more involved than I had believed at first. For example, after a new episode of How I Met Your Mother airs, a new page has to be created for the episode, containing information about it like a recap of the plot, how it relates to the continuity of the show, screenshots, quotes, trivia, production goofs, if any guest stars appeared, etc. And then the pages for the characters appearing in the episode have to be changed to reflect anything happening during that episode, and so on.
Even if there's no new episode, there's still work to be done. There's a page of community projects, mostly dedicated to refining character pages, or bringing the older show pages up to quality. And that's just the How I Met Your Mother wikia.
The Fallout wiki is relatively quiet. Usually, it'd be at it's most hectic when a new game comes out (not often) or if a downloadable expansion is released, because of the huge amount of new pages that need to be created for weapons, characters, locations, etc.
The DC Comics wiki picks up every week around Wednesday and Thursday, on account of Wednesday being the day comic book stores apparently get that week's new issues. For example there were 18 new comics released by DC this week (and needed updating on the wiki), including Wonder Woman #608, Justice League: Generation Lost #21, and Birds of Prey #10. And with different comics being released every week, this wiki gets changed and updated an awful lot.
