Blog Post # 7 - Tracking Computer Interaction Activity
After tracking my computerized interactions from yesterday evening, I am embarrassed by the amount of time that I spent on computerized devices. I finished class at around 5 o clock, and during the class I took notes on my computer. After class I talked on the phone with my mom for about 15 minutes. Then I went to Helen C. White to work on a paper. I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken on campusfoods.com, and answered the phone when they called. While I was writing me paper, I also had the Yankees vs. White Sox game on mlb.tv.com. The yankees ended up losing, but oh well. While I was working on the paper, I went on a myriad of other websites like mikeportnoy.com, espn.com, yahoo.com, blip.fm, buccaneers.com, and cnn.com. I had been texting a few friends the whole night to try to meet up after I finished my paper. I finished the paper at around 10 PM and played a game on my phone called Homerun Battle 3D. Then, I went to my friend's apartment and we played family feud on facebook. After going to my friend's house, I went home and went to sleep while listening to my ipod. From about 5 PM until midnight, I spent pretty much the whole time on computerized devices. This is embarrassing, and I hope that nights that I don't have to write a paper, I spend less time on my computerized devices.
